Garden in the station

Memorial to the Madrid bombing incident

Plaza del Toros (Bull Ring)

A matador gave honour to Ian Fleming who discovered penicillin. If no penicillin, their life would be at risk when attacked by the bull.

Estadio Santiago Bernabeu (Real Madrid Football Stadium)

Plaza de Espana

Don Quixote and his sidekick

Palacio Real

Catedral de la Almudena

Fuente de Neptuno (Neptune Fountain)

Puerta de Alcala (Alcala Gate)

Parque del Retiro (Retiro Park)

It was a free museum day, so we visited the Reina Sofia and Prado museum. The arts collection at Reina Sofia is mostly modern art, which I didn't like at all. I prefer the paintings at Prado, they looked so real which really showed the talent of the painters.
