Day 44: Seoul (Most value for money Korean BBQ)

We chanced upon this restaurant at Gwancheoldong. It was fully packed and looking at the prices it was sure irresistible.

But the photos here are from our second visit because I forgot to bring the camera on our first visit. But for this second time, we went to another branch near our place. It was just opposite Jongno 3 (sam)-ga station exit 5. We walk passed this place so many times and never realize that there's a branch here.

I guess the price is part of the shop name too, 600 gr for 13,000 won. :)

In other places, typical BBQ pork for two persons costs around 18,000 - 20,000 won with HALF the quantity.

Check out the menu, it is cheap!!

We wanted to order something different from our first visit but the waiter didn't speak any English either so he couldn't explain the differences of the meat. He told us to get the first one which was what we ordered previously.

One portion is more than enough for two person.

If it isn't good, quantity doesn't matter right? But this one is great!

On top of hot charcoal.

Since they use charcoal, the meat will get burnt easily just like the satay. Love it! The portion was so much that we had 4 bowls of rice between us, hahaha...
