We finished the sightseeing in three hours as there was nothing much to see in Liverpool. I was not a fan of its football club or Beatles, it was only the name "Liverpool" that attracted me to visit here.
Town Hall
Royal Liver Building
The building is the most famous landmark here with the liver birds on top.
Side view of the building with two liver birds on each tower.
Albert Dock
Merseyside Maritime Museum
The Beatles Story
Anglican church
Chinatown
Metropolitan cathedral
St George's Hall
Walker Art Gallery
Random buildings
Liverpool Lime Street station
Actually the intenerary was to take a train from Liverpool to Bath, but when we knew it stopped at Birmingham, we decided to stop here for a few hours. I didn't do any research on Birmingham, so we went to a tourist office nearby and asked for map and the popular attractions here.
Birmingham
It was such a big city and so crowded, and the landmarks here were more interesting than Liverpool. We should have stayed overnight here. :(
Birmingham New Street station
Shopping street
Bull Ring Shopping Center
St Martin church
Council House at Victoria Square
Town Hall
Chamberlain Square
Baskerville House
Hall of Memory
We spent about three hours here and proceed to Bath.
