Day 5: Niagara Falls - Toronto

Because of the rain last night, we didn't explore much of the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. So we made it a point to went down to Queen Victoria Park and take some pictures before we left for Toronto.

A better view of Horseshoe Falls from Canada

Rainbow bridge and Bridal Veil Falls

Skylon Tower

Toronto

On highway entering Toronto

Canada's Walk of Fame
On our way to hotel we passed by the Walk of Fame in front of Roy Thomson Hall.

Shania Twain

Alanis Morissette

Paul Anka

Pamela Anderson

Holiday Inn on King
This is one of the best hotel we stayed. We were given a newly renovated room and it was fantastic.

A stylish iPod dock with built-in radio and alarm clock.

CN Tower
We didn't go up to CN Tower, but here is the CN Tower from every corner of the city.

Gleaming skyscrapers

New City Hall

Outdoor sitting area in front of New City Hall.

Wedding couple and bridesmaids in front of City Hall.

Our other limo?? No no, it belonged to the wedding couple :)

Old City Hall
It is just opposite the New City Hall.

Tram passed by the Old City Hall

Ads to encourage people to drink from tap water instead of water bottle.
(text: We're drowning in plastic)

Eaton Centre
One of the biggest mall in Toronto.

Casa Loma
A castle that once belonged to a wealthy man and now a tourist attraction in Toronto.

A quiet residential area.. I love the houses here!

Toronto Subway (TTC)

Museum station

Cool artwork for parking bicycle

I loved this shot, the combination of old church and a high rise building.

Royal Ontario Museum
Distinctive architecture of the museum.

Is it an art to mix the old and new or is it simply disaster?

Our tea break at Pho Hung. The restaurant is just opposite the Royal Ontario Museum.

The pho here is simply delicious, this is a small portion.

One of the many awards

Parliament Building

Toronto harbourfront

Yonge street
Major shopping street in Toronto.

Salad King
We had our dinner here because the ratings and queue looked convincing, but it was quite disappointing.
